I've been working hard on Neon Hearts City, my latest point and click adventure game.

What is Neon Heart City?

Neon Heart City is an upcoming point and click adventure in set in a cyberpunk dystopian future where you play as Elijah Crow, a private investigator involved in a missing person case. Zealots inhabit the city's hidden underworld and somebody has been sacrificing androids who long to become human.

No Kickstarter

I am not running a Kickstarter campaign this time around – but I will need to raise additional funds to commission a full voice over, a soundtrack, and additional animations. In order to achieve that, I'll need to raise at least $4000. Since there's no Kickstarter campaign, I’ll be accepting donations via Patreon or PayPal instead.

Why no Kickstarter? A lot of effort goes into running the Kickstarter campaign, and it is an all-or-nothing deal, with Kickstarter themselves also taking a significant cut of the funds if the campaign reaches its goal. By allowing you to support Neon Hearts City directly, I can ensure that every last cent of the proceeds goes to making the game as good as it possibly can be.

If I manage to secure a publisher (which might happen soon), they'd mainly fund marketing – so I'll need your help in securing the voice over.

All donations will award you with a key to the game (your choice of Steam or Itch) and a mention in the credits (please write down your name in the DM).

Backer rewards

You'll be offered perks for your support, similar to what you might see on Kickstarter – however this time around if you want to modify your rewards and tailor them to fit your specific wishes, you could DM me and we can make that happen.

• For $25 you'll get a digital copy of the game + a mention in the credits.
  
  
• For $50 you'll also get a digital copy of a game-making commentary + work in progress art.
  
  
• For $150 you'll also get a small portrait of yours in the game + a special mention in the credits.
  
  
• For $250 you'll also be invited to the VIP channel to get first peeks at art, music, and other stuff + you'll get to design a hotspot in the game (write its flavor text, decide what it is and what it would look like – though I can't guarantee it will be related to a puzzle).
